Abstract
Honey bee ( Apis mellifera L. ) is considered one of the most important in agriculture industry in Egypt and world wide . Honey bee is liable to infestation with some dangerous pests and diseases which cause severe losses in honey production and bee colonies . Surveying and controlling of pests i.e Varroa destructor , red wasp (Vespa orientalis ) as well as chalk-brood disease which are associated with honey bee are the main objectives of this study either under lab. or apiary conditions. The volatile oils have been evaluated as control agents for varroa mite . The obtained results could be summarized.
