Abstract
Aim of the work :
Agricultural workers in fields are exposed to potential hazard of insecticide , others are subjected to radiation exposure in the course of diagnostic medicine , radiotherapy or occupation . Many studies have dealt with the health hazard of either insecticide contamination alone or radiation exposure alone . Little attention has been given to the synergistic effect of combined exposures to insecticide and radiation exposure . This is the main goal of the present investigation . The present study was designed in order to evaluate the effect of exposure of adult male albino rats to insecticide Benfuracarb alone , to gamma rays and to combination of the insecticide and gamma rays , on the testes of the treated animals . This was conducted histologically and histochemically .
