Abstract Studying motion of particles in external fields is of great interest in physics. This subject has applications in classical and quantum mechanics and in particular in the theory of general relativity. This thesis consists of four chapters as follows; In chapter one ; We introduce some basic definitions and equations from the Riemannian geometry, electrodynamic and the general theory of relativity which are used throughout this thesis. In chapter two; We considered the proof of Kaluza-Klien equations. Besides we considered the Reissner-Nordstrom and the Newman line element. Moreover we obtained the non-vanishing Christoffel symbols of the Newman line element. |
