Abstract peptic ulcer is a common disease affecting different parts of the gastrointestinal tract.many factors may participate in the development of these ulcerations.the influence of hydrochloric acid,pepsin,mucus as well as the histamine and serotonin contents on the development and prevention of experimental gastric ulcerations under different conditions used for induction and treatment of these ulcers was investigated on cairo strain rats in order to elucidate the mechanism of ulcer formation. |
