Abstract
the experiments were carried out under field condition during the season 1987 / 88 and 1988 /89 to study . The effect of seed inoculation with mixed strains of R.lequminosarum on the densities of total microbial flora soorrformers . Azotobacter , Azospirillum . Clostridium .aerobic cellulose decomposers and nitrifiers in nonrhizosphere soil (soil apart ) rhizosphere soil and rhizophlane samples of inoculated and uninoculated treatments of lentil Gize 9 cultivar during different growth phases .The effect of seed inoculation with different strains on nodulation growth and the yield of lentil was studied .
