Abstract
The aim of this work is to improve the quality of infection control performance at Orthopedics’ surgery department at Zagazig University Hospitals.
Objectives:
1- Improve knowledge and performance concerning infection control practice of orthopedic department’s staff.
2- Decrease post-operative wound infection rate in orthopedic department. Place: orthopedic surgery department’ in patient section at zagazig university hospitals Sharkia governorate.

3- Material: booklets for infection control standards’ education sessions’ practical work shops real situation simulation.
4- Time: 4/2004 to 4/2006.
