Abstract This experiment was initiated during the 2001 and 2002 season’s 0n forty-eight uniform manfalouty pomegranate trees at the Agric. Experimental res. Center orchard of EL- Minia univ. west samalout, minia, Egypt the trees were planted at 3.5x 3.5 meters apart in sandy soil. The study aimed to throw some light on the effect of spraying some nutrients and vitamin C on growth fruit splitting yield and fruit quality of manfalouty pomegranate trees. The experiment involved the following sixteen spraying treatments: 1-control (water sprayed trees) 2-vitamin C (ascorbic acid) at 250ppm. 3- Vitamin C at 500ppm. 4- Vitamin C at 1000ppm. 5-mixture 1(*) + vitamin C at 0.0ppm. 6- Mixture 1+vitamin C at 250ppm. 7- Mixture 1+vitamin C at 500ppm. 8- Mixture 1+vitamin C at 1000ppm. 9- Mixture 2(**) + vitamin C at 0.0ppm. 10-mixture 2+ vitamin C at 250ppm. 11-mixture 2+ vitamin C at 500ppm. 12-mixture 2+ vitamin C at 1000ppm. 13-mixture 3(***) + vitamin C at 0.0ppm. 14- Mixture 3+ vitamin C at 250ppm. 15- Mixture 3+ vitamin C at500ppm. 16- Mixture 3+ vitamin C at1000ppm. |
