Twenty three selected ecotypes were used in the first and second seasons. While, in the third season nine ecotypes selected on the basis of high yielding from the first season and their progenies in the second season as well as bulk seeds of the original ecotypes, the best nine ecotypes, and the lowest ecotypes were planted together with Gize 15 variety (cheek variety) in randomized complete block design with four replications to estimate the forage yield, and its components. |
