Abstract
This thesis deals with studying the removal of three toxic heavy metals ions, Cr6+ is reduced to non toxic Cr3+ in presence of iron and sulfuric acid. Toxic Cu2+ and Ni2+ were removed by cementation on Zinc metal. The extend to which chalcones derivatives affect the oxidation reaction and cementation reaction was studied.
