Abstract
The nile delta coast extends adistarce of about 240km along the southeastern part of the mediterranean from 31 o 20’N, 30 o 3’ E to 31 o 15’N, 32 o 30’ E between Abu-Quir and port said. It has been builty by a continuous discharge of large quantities of sediment to the mediterranean sea during the flood period of the river nile.
