Abstract
This experiment was carried out during 1996 and 1997 seasons in a private vineyard located at zawiet sultan on the eastern bank of the river Nile,EL-minia governorate. The texture of the soil is sandy loam.
The target of this investigation was throw some light on the effect of four newly slow release N fertilizers in addition to two conventional fast release N fertilizers for comparison on bud break, fruiting buds,some growth aspects leaf content of N, P and K, berry set, yield and physical and chemical properties of red roomy grapes.
A completely randomized block design in a split split plot arrangement was used in this experiment.
The six slow and fast release N fertilizers occupied the main plots. The three levels of N represented the sub-plots, while the three N frequencies assigned the sub-sub plots.
