Abstract
)Four different varieties of tetraploid (T. turgidum) were used in n complete diallel crosses mating system to generate experimental populations of 6 f1 reciprocal hybrids. The F 2 gene-rations of all F1 hybrids and their reciprocals were also obtained. These varieties the Egyptian varieties, Dakar 49, Dakar 52, Baladi 116 and the Mexican variety stork S.
A11 28 genotypes were evaluated in a field trial experiment at Experimental station, Faculty of Agriculture, E1- Minia University in 1963, 1984 and 1985 seasons.
