Abstract This experiment was carried out during the two consecutive seasons of 1995 and 1996 in a private vineyard located at Zaweit Sultan on the eastern bank of the River Nile, El-Minia Governorate. The merit of this study was examining the beneficial effects of using the four micronutrients viz. zinc, iron, copper and boron as well as three auxins namely gibberellic acid (GA3), naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and indole acetic acid (IAA) on berry set, yield , seeds and some physical and chemical properties of Red Roomy grapes. The experiment was set in completely randomized block design in the split-plot arrangement with three replicates , two vines per each. The experiment was set in completely randomized block design in the split – polt arrangement with three replicates , two vines per each. The experiment involved two factors , the first factor included the four micronutrient treatments i.e. zinc,(Zn)+ iron (Fe) + copper (Cu) + boron (B)each at 0.0% , zinc (0.4%) + iron (0.4%)+ copper (0.1%) , boron (0.1%) and the four micronutrients together and occupied the main plots. |
