Abstract
Chrysanthemum morifolium, ratat, var. icecap is one of the newly introduced mum varieties throughout Egypt- California project for agricultural development. Such variety has been successfully grown and flowered in cairo and Alexandria for the past five years. Therefore, the idea of trying it at EL-Minia which located 250 kilometer south of cairo especially under different soil salinity levels and various growth regulator concentrations was arisen.
Three soil saline level treatments (0.15,0.30 and 0.60% of equal amounts by weight, of Na CL+Ca CL) in addition to unsalinized control treatment were used in combination with three concentrations of GA3 (25,50 Or 100ppm)or CCC (500,1000 or 2000ppm) as well as unsprayed control plants.
