Abstract Adolescence is regarded as a stormy and stressful period characterizes by alienation and distress. There are many factors which affect alienation. Psycho-social economic school and health problems relations with parent’s sex perception of self family’s religious commitment and scholastic achievement are important factors known to contribute to levels of alienation among nursing students. -alienation can be eliminated largely when community nursing administration and school efforts are coupled with a caring attitude on the part of students families and are directed at the need of the student. -The aim of this study was to assess the level of alienation among technical nursing secondary school students in Alexandria. -The study data were gathered from technical nursing secondary school in different health sectors in Alexandria. The sample included all students enrolled in the third year at the different technical nursing secondary schools during the academic year 1995-1996. The total number amounted to 600 students. |
