Abstract
the work in this investigation comprises three main parts I.introduction this survey briefly the history and the adrenergic properties of the diastereoisomeric pair,l-ephedrine and d-pseudoephedrine,and discusses their chemistry and the differences in their physico-chemical properties. it also contains a correlation between these properties and configuration.
