Abstract The genotype- environment interaction and regression response in dex for grain yieId and its components as weII as same other agrononnmic attributes of themaize pIant (zea mays L.) were anaIysed in an eight – parent haIf diaIIeI cross growinan ina series of 12 environments estabiished by combining three leuels is of nitrogen fertiIizer with two different pIant demsities in two succesive years. Among the obiectives of This study were the estiInation of the different components of thegenetic system controIIing grainyieId andthe other agroruic traits and the determination of the possibIe phenotypic and geneti association between those characters . The resultes obtained revealed that the genotype environment interaction was operating for all the characters analysed |
