Abstract
This investigation was carried out during the experimental season 1991/92 and 1992/93 preceded with an introductory season 1990/91 to overcome any previously applied treatment on 25-year-old Navel orange trees grown in an orchard at Naiem (Beni.Suef Governorate). The treeswer budded on sour orange root stock and planted at spacing of 6 x 6 meters. The orchard Soil was silty-Clay, well drained and of water table not less than two meters.
