Abstract
The candidate’s work deals with the the synthesis of monosaccharide hydrazonecarbodithioates and their metal complexes as well as cyclization of the hydrazonecarbodithioates to acyclo 1,3,4-thiadiazole and 1,3,4-thiadiazoline C-nucleoside analogs. it was relevant, therefore, to devote the inductory part of this thesis (Chapter I) to review the methods of synthesis of 1,3,4-thadiazole and 1,3,4-thiadiazoline derivatives. In chapter II, the candidate discusses the results of her own work on the synthesis.
