Abstract
Feed restriction program was undertaken with two stabilized crosses of chickens ( Dokki-4 and Matrouh ).After 6 weeks starting period during which all chickens were fed on a unified starting diet, each breed was divided into 6 groups. Each group was fed on one of the following systems:
Ad-libitum, 95 %, 90 %, 85 % of the ad-lib, low protein diet and low energy low protein diet.
