Abstract
The population groeth is placing pressure on the rural land and rhere is a need to provide a suite of strategies to ensure that it is managed and conserved in a suatainable manner. Balancing emvironmental and economic objectives requires a land management strategy that facilitates the land market and protects sensitive land and cultural resources.
