Abstract
Electronic computers are widely used in the
solution of the problems of science, engineering,
and business • This use is based on their ability
to operate at a great speed, to produce accurate
results, to store large quantities of informations,
and to carry out large and complex sequences of
operations without human intervention •
Programming Language is a particular symbol
string constituting a program specifies transforma-
tion on symbol strings called input, which is the
communication between the person with a problem
and the digital computer used to solve the problem
to produce output data. This language has been
developed. For scientific problems , the earlist
language was called SHORT CODE. Now there are
BASIC , ALGOL 58 , ALGOL 60 , Revised ALGOL 60 , ALGOL 6X , FORTRAN II , FORTRAN IV and others(l, 2,3)
