Abstract
This study aimed to find the mode of inheritance of resistance level in N. ceassa. Acriflavine drug and three loci, of seven ,controlling its resistance in N. crassa were selected for the study.two strains with different mating types for each of the loci ; acr-1,acr-5 and acr-7 were obtained from FGSC. One isolate for each strain were obtained by planting 0.1-0.2 ml conidial suspension, from each, on gradient concentrations of acriflavine and the colonies which give growth on the maximum level of acriflavine, were selected. A periodical tests, every three months, for these levels were carried out. Heterocaryons studies and series of sexual crosses were set up between the obtained isolates (parents) in all possible combinations.
