Abstract
A yarn texturing apparatus has been designed to pro¬duce a textured cotton yarn by false - twist method, after treating with thermosetting resin. The apparatus has been_ designed to allow changes in the different processing para¬meters, such as the false twist , the hector temperature , the heating time , the cooling time, the over feed percent, and the percent resin pick-up in the yarn .The effect of both the processing variables, and the in feed yarn characteristics, such as single twist, ply twist, and yarn count on the stretch , tensile , and recovery prop¬erties was studied The main factors affecting texturing have been deduced and their effect and interactions were studied statistically using factorial experiment .
