Abstract In this thesis, the package flow model incorporating the inference rules have been used to study the nuclear reactor dynamic response to the change of input reactivity. The power of the fuzzy reasoning method has been shown throughout the thesis work. It shows that the fast and easy calculation for reactor power, heat flux for different membership function shapes, number of inference rules, and different sampling numbers. The reactor power response depends on the number of delayed neutron packages, and the mean neutron life time, and the sign of input reactivity have been also studied in the thesis. The author still recommend that, the link between the fuzzy inference engine and the expert system or neural network is recommended to be done in near future, and possible implementation of fuzzy modeling for complete nuclear power plant simulator will enhance the execution time of overall plant dynamic. |
