Abstract
The broad bean (Vicia faba) is one of the most tant economic crops in Egypt. However , its production has at times been seriously threatened by infestation of bruchid beetles , Bruchus rufimanus Boheman and Bruchidius incarnatuse Boheman in the field and the store respectively.In spite of its great economic importance , rufimanus and B. incarnates were studied by relatively very few workers in the world and in Egypt .In Middle , Egypt , in particular , comparatively little work has been one among these insects and many points remained to be larified. The present work deals with some Biological and Ecological aspects in Minia region
