Abstract This investigation was carried out during the two successive seasons of 2001 and 2002 to study the effect of fertigation with NPK and irrigation regime on growth, leaf mineral content, blooming and fruiting and fruit quality of Manfalouty pomegranate at EL- Magara Experimental Station North Sinai Governorate. The trees received 150 ppm N, 50 ppm P and 75 ppm K during the vegetative growth while they received 75 ppm N, 50 ppm P and 150 ppm K during setting and developing fruit stage. The nitrogen sources were nitric acid (13.3% N) and ammonium nitrate (33% N) as well as diarnmonium phosphate while phosphor sources were phosphoric acid (57.9% p) and also diammonium phosphate (53.7% p) Moreover, potassium sources were potassium hydroxide (83.9%) and potassium carbonate (68.2%). from the results obtained, the treatment of extended irrigation interval x nitric acid x phosphoric acidx potassium carbonate was more effective in vegetative growth, yield, fruit weight and fruit size. In addition it significantly decreased rrui,t split. |
