Conclusion This raise the possibility that skin histopathological findings can be used as a predictor of rheumatoid arthiritis disease activity at three levels which are: 1- Overall skin histopathological disease activity parameters like both interstitial and prevascular fibrosis and cellular infiltrations, erector pillae muscle cellular infiltration and vascular conjestion. 2- Articular disease activity skin histopathological parameters like histiocytic cellular whether in the interstitial tissue or perivascular, erector pillae muscle histocytic infilteration. 3- Extra-articular disease activity histopathologic parameters like plasma cells infiltration wheather in the interstitial tissue or perivascular and vasculities erector muscle lymphocytic infiltration and percentage of high endothelial cells. |
