Abstract
The present work is directed towards the studying of yarn properties produced on production line fitted with the lap-less feed for high production card. All possible combina¬tions of chute feed parameters with or without autolevellers on carding are considered. The effect of lapless feed on both Open -end and Ring spun yarns are considered

Factorial design is used in order to investigate the effect of lapless feed to card on the different stages and their interactions . The results obtained are analysed for ex¬plaining this investigation .
