Abstract
A theoretical study of the response of jetties subjected to static and dynamic loads is presented.
The static analysis employeds the pile stiffnesses in different modes to produce resultant group stiffness in the horizontal, rotational and vertical directions. Pile group effect is taken into consideration and response due to
static loads are calculated •
Wilson-Cita Method is employed to study the jetty beha¬viour due to Impact dynamic load , Solved examples are given
and results are presented •
