Abstract
In this study total of 552 fish specimens, represented as black carp 152 and common carp 400.Clinical signs and postmortem lesions were recorded. Isolation and identification of external parasites as Trichodina sp, Dactylogyrus sp, Gyrodactylus sp, Diplozoon sp, Lernaea cyprinacae and Leeches sp from common carp only. Isolation and identification of internal parasites as Capillaria sp from common carp and black carp, Paracamallanus cyathopharynex as adult worms in gut of intestine of black carp, Centrocistus formasinus encysted metacercaria from black carp and Diplostomum sp as encysted metacercaria from common carp also total and seasonal prevalence was studied and histopathological changes were recorded.
