Abstract This study was carried out on 270 different samples from 95 ostrich bird with different ages in the four seasons for isolation and identification of certain moulds and yeasts of respiratory and digestive The obtained results were isolation and identification of 138 moulds isolates where A. flaves , A. fumigatus , A. niger , A. terreus, A. ocharceous followed by penicillium spp. , Mucor spp., Rhizopus spp., Exophalia spp. , Fusarium spp. , paecilomyces , phialophora , Helminthusporium spp, Aureobasidium spp, chrysosporium spp. And isolation and identification of 100 yeast isolates where C. albicans was the most prevalent followed by C. tropicalis , Rhodotorula spp. ,C. pseudotropicalis C. glabrata, Geotrichum spp , C. guilliremondii , Cryptococcus albidus Cryptococcus laurantii. Mould isolates were more prevalent in autumn season than other seasons while yeast isolates were more prevalent in summer season than other seasons . also moulds and yeasts were more prevalent in ostrich chicks than juvenile and adult ostriches.
