Abstract
The present study was carried out to investigate the effect of some widely used therapeutic as oxytetracycline (panterramycin) , vitamin AD3E and Triclabendazole ( Fasinex) on the immune response of animals vaccinated with polyvalent clostridial vaccine.
Administration of Oxytetracycline at the same time of vaccination of sheep with polyvalent vaccine showed decrease in antibodies titers in sera of sheep.
Group of sheep drenched with Fasinex at the time of vaccination show marked increase in antitoxin titers of beta antitoxin of C.perfringens type B, epsilon antitoxin titers of C.perfringens type D, alpha antitoxin titers of C.novyi type B, antitoxin titer of C.tetani and antitoxin titer of C.septicum. and agglutination titer of C.chauvoei.
Injection of sheep with AD3E at the same time of vaacination with polyvalent clostridial vaccine increased the antibody titers of different antigens of the vaccine.
The ELISA technique was carried out on the same serum samples, the results ran parallel with that of toxin neutralization test.
