Abstract
The aim of the present inv~stigation is to conclude
t he pr opez c ul t U.I al PI ac t ic ~s fOI the pr cduc t ion of
cassava on sandy soils in respect of feIt ilizat ion and
harvesting time in oz de r to maximize yield.
The experiments were undertaken to achieve the goals
of study ovex the two seasons 1988/89 and 1989/1990 in
the experimental faIm of Faculty of AgIic., Sllez Canal
Univ. at Iamailia. The split-plot design with foux
replications was adopted; in which main plots were devoted
fOI NPK feI~ilizeI tIeatments of 0-0-0, 45-0-0, 90-0-0,
45-)0-0, 90-)0-0, 45-JO-50 and 90-)0-50. The sub plots
wexe devoted fox two haIvesting times at 9 and 11 months
fIom planting.
