Abstract

Aim of the work
1- Find out the common intestinal opportunistic parasites among the studied groups depending on laboratory evaluation of stained fecal smears. So, early diagnosis and administration of the most relevant will decrease their mortality and morbidity.
2- Find out if there is correction between the presence of these parasites and the level of CD4 & CD8 and C3 & C4.
Conclusion
Immuno-suppression increase and paves the way to opportunistic parasites.
Also, opportunistic parasites grave the immune system of the individual.
Patients suffering from chronic liver diseases as well as renal failure were more risky to be infected with opportunistic parasites.
Increased level of CD4 and CD8 in patients infected with opportunistic parasites.
C3 and C4 depend on the level of its production and the factors affecting the activation of the complement system and thus we can not depend on it in the assay of the immune system alone.
Recommendations
The periodicals examinations of the immunosuppressed patients by specific techniques do not result only in early diagnosis and treatment but also, minimize environmental pollution with the infective stages of these parasites.
