Abstract
This work aimed to investigate the chemical composition of brown algae Pelvetiopsis limitata, and the effect of brown algae - diets fed to experimental animals on the body weight gain, food efficiency ratio, Serum lipid profile, serum minerals profile, blood glucose and hemoglobin levels and Liver, kidney functions. Brown algae Pelvetiopsis limitata was obtained from sea rocks, Alexandria coastal area. The washed algae were subjected to sun drying then ground into powder to be used for the study (chemical analysis and Biological experiment).
