Abstract
The colon is a fascinating area for study, since numerous and variety of diseases involve that area of the digestive tract and provide a diversity of radiological findings.
Here, the normal anatomy and physiology of the large intestine are described, as well as disease processes involving the large bowel which include neoplasms, inflammatory diseases, diverticular disease, infectious diseases, vascular disorders and various miscellaneous problems.[1]
