Abstract The present study included 60 patients with sympotomatic gallstone disease admitted to the hepatobiliary pancreatic surgical unit of the Alexandria main university hospital . all patients were fit for general anaesthesia and compliable with the American society of anesthesiologist (ASA) grades I or II. The aim of this work study was to compare between laparoscopic cholecystectomy performed using standard high pressure pneumoperitoneum and general anesthesia as regards feasibility, safetypostoperative course and complications as well as patients satisfaction. |
