المستخلص the aim of this work is to evaluate prospectively different microsurgical procedures for anterior cervical discectomy including simple discectomy and discectomy with fusion using iliac crest bone graft in cervical disc disease. Anterior cervical microdiscectomy without bone fusion had been usually associated with postoperative neck pain , cervical curve deformity, and low fusion rate .Aterior cervical microdiscectomy with autologous bone fusion has been associated with graft harvical problems such as pain, infection, hematomas , nerve injury and iliac crest deformity , as well as graft and fusion , problems such as non-union , graft collapse or dislodgement. 30 patients with fresh cervical disc disease were prospectively recruited for this study .All patients were symptomatic and refractory to adequate conservative therapy . Patients were divided into two groups. |
