Abstract
This retrospective study was carried out on 50 patients (54 cases with four patient bilateral anterior shoulder dislocations ) who were treated by closed reduction and body bandage in orthopaedic department , faculty of medicine , Alexandria university . in the period from febuary 1996 to October 2000. The aim of work was to evaluate who were victims of anterior shoulder dislocation . The patients age from 15-76 years old with mean age 42.25 year. All patients were examined clinically and certain view roentgenograms were done . males were affected more by anterior shoulder instability because they were subjected to a more vigorous style of life than females 5:1 respectively.
