Abstract

The Born approximations are used to calculate the total and differential (in the forward direction) cross sections for a number of colliding atomic systems as a function of the impact energy. The total electron-and one electron-detachement cross sections from H¯ ions in collisions with H, He and Li, H, respectively, were calculated in the energy regions . Also, the nondetachement-inelastic cross sections from H¯ ions with H, He were calculated and the effect of the polarization of the projectile has been discussed.
