Abstract This work was carried on 60 heads of adult goat which were Doilected from Damanhour sloughter house then injected with 10% ortnaJ..ine through the common carotid artery. The study of the brain concerned with some anatomical fea— aires of different parts of the brain specially the oerebellum md cerebrum as these two parts constiute ibe most complicated 3tructure of the central nervous system The cerebellum is an irregular globular in shape and fo-’ rtued of median part the vermis and two lateral parts, the cer— bellar hemisphere. The vermis is curved upon itself ventrafly n a manner in whi.ch the rostral and caudal end come in conct with each other therefore the Fastigum cerebe].li of the fourth ventricle is not clear. The cerebellum could be subdivided into two major parts, Oorpu.s cerebelli and Lobus flocoulonodu— lane. These two parts are distinguishable by Fissura uvulon— odulad.s. The Corpus cerebelli is divided into bwo flindomant— a]. parts; Lobus rostralis and caudalis by Pie sura postcuJ.mina— ta. Each lobe has a median and lateral lobules. The median part of the rostra]. lobe can be subdivided ixxto three lobules; Iiingu.la, Lobulus centralis and Culmen. In the present study the Culmen is the largest and the most dorsorostra]. lobule of the lobus rostralis. In the cerebellum the 1i ngu]a, the Lobulus centralis and Cu.]..men extend in the cereblan hemisphere to form the hemisphere]. lobule, which are VirEDulum lingulee, Ala lobu2.i centralis and. Lobu].us quadrangulanie respectively. |
