Abstract This study was conducted at three setting in Menofyia governorate, namely Faculty of Nursing (FoN), Menofyia University (MU), Menofyia University hospital, Shebin El-kom teaching hospital. A quasi-experimental research design was used to answer the first research question . Concerning the second and third research question, testing the effect of educational session, an intervention design with prepost asseeement was used. The study sample was comprised of 300 working women in the childbearing age. Participants recruited according the inclusion criteria of being in childbearing age ( 18-45 years ), Not diagnosed with chronic disease for example :diabetes, anemia, and hypertension, Not previously diagnosed with osteoporosis. Five tools were developing to collect the data. These included an interviewing questioner from that includes sections for sociodemographic data, past obstetric history, medical history, and family history. Osteoporosis risk factors assessment sheet used to assess risk practice for osteoporosis that increase women risk for osteoporosis . The results revealed that more half of the women’s in the sample were sometimes exposure to sunshine after counseling
