Abstract The aim of this study is to evaluate our initial experience of panel for removal of renal stones in patients who are amenable to this line of treatment. Finally we conclude that percutaneous renal access is a skill that can be mastered by all urologist .the advantages of the urologist gaining access include control of the whole procedure and the ability to insert several tracts. planning the approach, based on knowledge of renal anatomy, the nature and location of the pathology, and the therapeutic goal, is essential for success. A relatively simple collection of instruments will suffice to accomplish percutaneous nephrostomy in most cases .access should be direct puncture through a calyceal fornix, avoiding the infundibulum and usually through the lower or middle calyces. In conclusion, there are many factors to consider regarding the optimal surgical procedure to perform on A given patient . anatomic considerations, past surgical procedures, patient expectations, and the surgeon s experience, all contribute to the success of the procedure. |
