Abstract

N albnphine. a ’Yllthelic opioid anal zesic whiell is chemica 11y
derived from the oxy norplrone I II ed for pain relief; nowaday ir i
addicted by muse aud body builders ..
The pre em ’lIldy wa de ugned to 1 reveal which of rhe different
toxicological analytical methods i more uitable for the identification of
ualbuphine , 1) estimate the postmortem drug concentration Ill’ orue
tissues of rats injected intraperitoneally with two different doses of the
drua,
TIle results obtained call be sunnuarized as follow:
I) 0101’ rests revealed that Some chemical reagent’s are suitable for the
identification of ualbuphiue (.g. Iarquis Reagent, Frohde’s reazenr
and cobalt nitrate I ammonia).
