Abstract

Child care represents the first move on the course of social development and
welfare. Dealing with children means that we control the original resources of life
river before it floods through the Egyptian land to fertilize the concepts and ideologies
in order to achieve our 0 bjectives and highlight our future prospects.
Children represent the most valuable assets a country has, because they
constitute hope and responsibility together.
The early childhood, the first five or six years, has a crucial effect on forming
the individual personality. Traditions and attitudes that have been formed in the early
childhood can not be easily changed or amended later. Therefore, we find that the
formation of the main personal features goes back to this critical phase of human life.
This highlights the importance of the role played by the family in the formation of
children’s personality.
Although the family plays a critical role in shaping the child’s personality in the early
childhood years, the educational institutions, especially nursery schools and
kindergartens can play another important role in developing the child’s personality. It
can reform many habits acquired by the child in his early childhood while reinforcing
good manners. It can also establish the good ethical principles and social skills.
The environmental problems have recently become an international danger
threatening our planet. Therefore, we should reconsider our behavior and attitudes
towards the different aspects of the environmental problems.
