Abstract As our society becomes mors graphically oriented,Therefore Image processing is becoming a widely acknowleded and very extensive field. The field of image processing is a very broad field with many applications in science and industry. In this thesis we examines some of the different techniques of image abalysis and enhancement and segmentation. Image enhancement can be divided into the following: 1) Contrast Enhancement, 2) Image Sharpening, and 3) Smoothing Image. A survey of the image enhancement techniques is performed and implemented, to original noisy image received from the control room of the Inshas Reactor to NNSRC in nasr city and the results were compared. After that, the Analysis methods, Which performs image boundary or edge detection, are discussed, then those methods that are sobel, Prewitt, Robort, and Laplacian edge detector are applied also to original images received from the control room of the Insgas Reactor and the results were compared to choose the best detector. After that we discuss and apply three of the restoration methods: namely: - inverse filter, Wiener filter and Least square methods. These methods are applied to images of the nuclear reactor, and then a comparison among them is Performed. |
