Abstract

The present work was carried out on total number of 250 young Camels belonged to different localities in “Marsa Matruh” Governorate at small ages. The selected Camels put under physical examination were classified according to their health condition into:
1 - (120) apparently clinical healthy Camels free from internal and
external,parasites were used as control groups after complete proved their
healthy status by both clinical and laboratory methods of examination.
2- (75) Camels suffered from dietetic diarrhea.
3- (55) Camels suffered from parasitic diarrhea.
The general conditions and of health of Camel is recognized by the temperature, pulse and respiration rates. They are parameters, which can be measured in the Camel and are indication of health or disease. Signs of pain, discomfort or distress should be noted, as should be the presence of abnormal discharges.
Clinical examination:
In case of healthy Camel calves The body temperature varied from 36.40 to 38.10, the respiration from 8.00-14.00 breaths /minutes and the pulse rates were from 28. 00-40.00 minutes. The faecal matters were small hard balls and passed without effort and the urine is clear and voided back ward in jets.
The body temperature was significantly decreased (pO.O 1) in cases of dietetic and parasitic diarrhea .Also pulse rate was significant incresed (p<O.O5) in cases of dietetic, while the respiratory rate non significant change
