The heat reJease analysis in this model is baed On a single-zooe thermodynamic model that coosiden the cylinder’ oootflflbi to be a hcmogeoeous ideal gas mixture of air, fuel-vapor, and p:oducts of combuatioo.. The resolutioo. during cycle calcu1atioo. is me degree CZ1II1kAngJe, and less than 0.125 degree during the heat release calcuJatioos to ensure high degree of aocuracy. The effect of operating cooditiOO8 such as fIfl~ speed, ~oo. ratio, injectioo. timing. injectioo. ~ and excess air ratio on the in-cy1indtz perameters such as pressure, tet. ~ture, beat transfer coefficient and beet release rate have al80 been studied.
