Abstract
The present study was carried out to evaluate the effect of different pH on the efficacy of pefloxacin in veterinary practice on experimentally infected chickens with E.coli by throwing light on possible; if any; side effects of this drug that could be reflected as haematological changes as well as liver and and kidney dysfunction. the sensitivity of E.coli to pefloxacin was also tested with special reference for detection of minimum inhibitory concentrations.
